Crab Cakes


These spicy crab cakes will add a little kick of flavor to your next party.



Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb lump crabmeat
  • 1 slightly beaten egg
  • 1 1/2 tsp cream style horseradish
  • 1 1/2 tsp prepared spicy mustard
  • 1/8-1/4 tsp Tabasco
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/8 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • pinch black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, minced
  • 1 tbsp + 1 1/2 tsp mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs

Method

Mix all ingredients together. Form into 4 cakes. Fry in extra virgin olive oil over medium high heat, 4 minutes per side until golden brown.

Notes: You can double this recipe.

Number of servings: Makes 2-4 servings
