Crisp and Smooth Tuna Croquette

This smooth tuna mixture is fried to a crisp, and completely delicious. Try it to use up your canned tuna and you'll impress your whole family!

3 Potatoes
3 Tbsp Butter
1 tsp Garlic Powder
2 cans Tuna
½ cup Chopped Onion
½ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
3 Eggs
½ cup Flour
¾ cup Bread Crumbs


Peel and cut the potatoes into chunks, then boil them in salted water until tender. Drain the potatoes then add the butter and mash them well. Season the mashed potatoes with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Add in the tuna, drained, onion, and cheese. Mash all the ingredients together well, then add one egg, combining until a dough forms. Take pieces of dough and roll into medium sized balls. In three separate bowls, put the flour, 2 eggs (beaten), and bread crumbs. Coat the tuna ball in flour, followed by the egg mixture, and finally the bread crumbs. Heat oil in a large pot, and once the oil is very hot, begin to carefully drop in the breaded balls. Fry until they are a golden brown, then drain on paper towels.
