Crispy Oven Fried Shrimp

Using egg whites for the batter and baking these flavorful shrimp until they are perfectly crispy is a much healthier alternative to frying. What a treat.

Cooking Spray
1⅔ cups Herb-seasoned Stuffing Mix, crushed
2 tsp Sesame Seed
½ tsp Paprika
¼ tsp Garlic Powder
¼ tsp Salt
¼ tsp Pepper
⅛ tsp Onion Powder
2 Egg Whites
1½ lb Large Shrimp, peeled and deveined


Heat oven to 425 degrees F. Coat a large baking sheet with cooking spray and set aside. Combine the stuffing mix, sesame seed, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and onion powder in a shallow dish and toss well to combine. Place the egg whites in another dish and whisk or stir with a fork until it starts to get foamy. One at a time, dip the shrimp into the beaten egg whites, then into the stuffing mixture, coating well. Place on a prepared baking sheet. Lightly spray the shrimp with cooking spray. Bake for 8-9 minutes, carefully turn shrimp, then bake for another 8-9 minutes or until shrimp are crispy and golden. Serve immediately.
