Margarita Shrimp

Cooked shrimp are combined in a slightly thickened cream sauce that contains light cream or half-and-half, tequila, lime juice and green chilies, served over cooked pasta of your choice.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. shelled, deveined shrimp
- 3 tbs. tequila
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
- 3 tbs. butter or margarine
- Juice from 3 limes
- 1 cup light cream
- 1 lb. cooked pasta
- Cilantro

Method
Saute shrimp and green chilies in butter till shrimp turns pink. Remove shrimp and set aside. Add tequila and lime juice to green chilies. Cook till warmed through. Slowly add cream and cook till thickened. Return shrimp to cream sauce. Serve over pasta. Garnish with cilantro.
