Salmon Fillets with sour cream horseradish sauce

Salmon fillets are brushed with sesame oil and gingerroot, baked, and served with a sauce containing sour cream and horseradish.
Ingredients
- 6 (3- to 5-ounce) fresh salmon fillets
- 2 to 3 tablespoons dark sesame oil
- Kosher salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Minced gingerroot, to taste
- Sour cream Horseradish Sauce (below)
- 2 to 3 large green onions with tops, thinly sliced
- Sour cream horseradish sauce:
- 1 1/2 cups sour cream
- 2 to 3 T prepared white horseradish
- Salt and white pepper, to taste
- 1 t confectioners' sugar

Method
Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly brush the fillets with the sesame oil and season with the salt, pepper and ginger. Place the fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20 minutes or until the fish is opaque throughout. Remove from the oven. Serve hot, or if you prefer, chilled. Spoon some of the horseradish sauce on the fish, and then sprinkle with green onions. Sour cream horseradish sauce: Combine all ingredients and mix well. Adjust the seasonings to taste.
