Scalloped Oysters

A tasty side dish made with oysters and heavy cream baked with cracker crumbs. Easy to make.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 pt. jar oysters, drained partially
  • butter
  • fresh minced parsley
  • 1-2 c. cream
  • salt & pepper
  • saltine crackers

Method

Crush saltine crackers. Layer 1/2 inch in buttered casserole dish. Place oysters, salt & pepper, bits of butter & parsley in casserole. Pour cream over top. Add another layer of crackers. Bake at 350 degrees 40-45 minutes.
