Shrimp Fra Diavolo (Variation #1)

Angel hair pasta, shrimp, fresh veggies and lots of spice!


1 pkg Angel Hair Pasta
Basil Infused Olive Oil
1 Sweet Red Bell Pepper, sliced thin
1 Onion, sliced thin
4-6 cloves Garlic, minced
1 lb Deveined, de-tailed shrimp
2 Tbsp Chopped Sun Dried Tomatoes, jarred
Red Pepper Flakes
1 can Diced Tomatoes, undrained
Salt, pepper mill
Shredded Parmesan, to top


Start salted water to boil and prepare angel hair pasta as directed.

Heat oil in pan and add shrimp, cooking only until pink. Do not over cook shrimp.

Remove shrimp and add red pepper flakes, onions, and red peppers. Sautee. Then add garlic and sun dried tomatoes. Once all are cooked to desired texture, add the diced tomatoes and heat. Finish with adding back the shrimp. Salt and pepper to taste.

Toss mixture with drained angel hair pasta. Serve with parmesan on top.

I have several variations of this dish. I like to use what I have on hand at the time.
