Tilapia In Garlic and White Wine Cream Sauce

A fast and easy, but elegant dinner--just saute seasoned tilapia then quickly whip up a wine and cream sauce flavored with garlic and parsley.
 

Ingredients

  • 4-6 tilapia fillets 2 tbsp Montreal chicken seasoning 1/4 cup olive oil 2 tbsp butter 1/2 cup heavy cream 1/4 cup white wine 2 large cloves garlic, put through a garlic press 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Method

In a large skillet, heat oil and butter together over medium high heat. Add pressed garlic, season tilapia with Montreal seasoning and add to skillet. Brown on both sides, add wine, scraping bottom of skillet to loosen any drippings. Add heavy cream and mix with wine sauce. Cook sauce until reduced enough to coat the back of a spoon. Add parsley and serve over basmati rice.
