Tuna Noodle Bake

This casserole combines noodles, tuna, and green beans for a great dinner and leftovers.
Ingredients
- 1 large bag wide egg noodles
- 2 cans water-packed tuna drained and flaked
- 1 can green beans, drained
- 1 large can mushroom soup (low sodium
- low fat soup works great, if desired)
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 Tbsp seasoning salt
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 12 oz bag thin potato chips, crushed 12 slices American cheese

Method
Preheat oven to 350 Degrees. Grease a 4 quart casserole dish. Prepare egg noodles according to package instructions, drain and return to pan, set aside. In a large skillet on medium heat melt butter and add chopped onion and seasoning salt. When Onion is translucent add mushroom soup, tuna and milk. Stir until well blended. Add green beans and remove from heat. Mix together with noodles and pour into prepared casserole dish. Cover mixture with cheese. Top with crushed potato chips. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes.
Notes: This recipe is a family favorite that I serve with applesauce. It makes for great leftovers, too!
